Oak City was started in a response to customers both commercial and residential being taken advantage of by big name contractors. After seeing and hearing of numerous horror stories and being asked to help get projects completed to the expectations of the client. Lucas and Devyn saw a need for some honest, upfront, hard working contractors in the community. After many months of plan and discussion they decided to make the move and thus Oak City Construction and Renovations was born.

Devyn has over 10+ years of construction knowledge, in both residential & commercial. Devyn brings a side of personalism & professionalism to the company that is a key to our success. Devyn is a husband and a father who enjoys playing soccer & hanging out with friends. Devyn is excited for the future of Oak City & can’t wait to see its successes.
Lucas attended Ohio Northern University where he majored in Construction Management. After graduation he worked in the commercial construction field until relocating to Raleigh, NC in 2015. Lucas brings to the company his professionalism and extensive knowledge of management from his experience as a site superintendent. Outside of work he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and 2 little boys, woodworking, and cheering on his Ohio State Buckeyes.
